Classes focus on a balance of strength and flexibility, rejuvenation, and centering.  Classes aim to guide you to finding balance in your physical and mental wellness.  A flow of movement and breath encourage mindfulness and vitality for body mind and spirit.  All levels are welcomed and encouraged!  Classes encourage proper form and modifications when/where needed.  Each class is different to prevent you and your body from becoming too accustomed.

 



RESTORATIVE YOGA

Embrace the present moment through breathing exercises with Meditation. 

Classes utilize a variety of different resting poses supported by props including blocks, strap, bolsters and blankets.  The use of breathing techniques and meditation/contemplation promps are used to help bring higher levels of consciousness, and greater focus to the body and present moment.

Restorative Yoga helps slow your body and mind to enable you to sync with your natural rhythm and pulsation.  This can help reach deeper levels of healing, relaxation and balance!

GROUP MEDITATION

Instructor: Jenna Davis and Carla Eilers

Classes may start with a short yoga warm up to help bring you into your body and the present moment.  After the warm up, comfortable/sustainable meditation positions will be used (your instructor will help you find a position that works best for you).   

Classes vary and may include the following practices: guided imagery meditation; candle meditation; chanting; yoga mudra (hand positioning); breathing techniques; and more.  

Like with Restorative Yoga, Meditation can help slow your body and mind to enable you to sync with your natural rhythm and pulsation.  This can help reach deeper levels of healing, relaxation and balance!
