At Soul Centric we strive to hold a space where Yoga and Meditation can be explored by all. We take pride in our non-intimidating, welcoming and safe environment.
Soul Centric offers a variety of Yoga Classes including- Gentle Yoga, Yoga Flow, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga.
Classes currently welcome all levels and are designed to help you build balance, strength, flexibility, stability, form/alignment in your body and your life. Our Yoga Teachers weave creative sequencing and themes through each class to help keep things fresh and provide you with an attainable yet challenging practice.
You can expect a thoughtful sequence of Yoga postures, practice of different breathing techniques, use of mudras (hand gestures) and more.
We will soon be adding group Guided Meditation Classes to our offering. These classes will welcome all levels of experience and are designed to help you build a Meditation practice. Different Meditation techniques will be used and explored including Guided Visual Meditation.
You can expect a thoughtfully planned class that includes a brief warm up (typically a short sequence of yoga postures), guided centering and meditation, breathing exercises, mantra sounding, inspirational readings, gentle music, soft lighting and props to help you get comfortable (such as bolsters, blankets, etc.).
Carla is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She completed her 200hr RYT compliant training through Body & Soul in Dubuque IA. Carla also has experience teaching PiYo (a blend of Pilates and Yoga).
Jenna is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She completed her 200hr RYT compliant training through Fusion Studio in Cedar Rapids IA. Jenna is also a Licensed Massage Therapist at Soul Centric.
Libbie completed a 200hr teacher training in 2016 and a 70hr Mindfulness Yin certification in 2018.
